Due to the proximity to large cities such as Bamako (about 75 km), the pressures on natural resources and land are crucial points to address as they have resulted in the gradual reduction of wood and tree resources to meet energy needs.
Trees for the Future is working with more than 900 farmers to plant more than 2.7 Million trees over the next 3 years.
